I'm late to the chat but there are no conservative policy answers to any issue we are facing. Republicans took control of the legislature under Obama holding the House for a decade, and the Senate for six years. Outside of the tax cut and ACA repeal attempts what was their agenda? Thinking about how policy works how does House Speaker Kevin McCarthy pass anything in the House (look how hard it was for previous Speakers Boehner and Ryan) and pass it to Majority Leader McConnell only to face

1) Republican Senators jockeying for airtime ahead of the 2024 election, petty squabbling, and policy disagreements.

2) A Democratic filibuster (because they won't have 60 votes).

3) if they get through all that they face a veto from Biden as they likely won't have the votes to override (requires 2/3rds of the Senate)

It seems like if they win they will spend their time in the majority continuing a culture war, and stopping Biden from doing anything productive for Americans.
