I always worry when i read articles like this. First let me say what you dealt with was abuse plain and simple, and completely unacceptable. I’m glad you got out of this situation. But the thing that worries me is too often the comments and tone lack empathy. I know it is hard to feel empathy for incels but they are people, people that have been told they are not good enough. Part of a market society is the creation of winners and losers and tv and media have painted a picture of winners and they are not the average guy, what’s worse is dating stats from online dating show women are pretty selective in their matching they are dating horizontal and up in regards to education and income level, that leaves some men feeling vulnerable. Those guys shouldn’t be ostracized but we should tell them they are valuable and can improve themselves. Clean yourself up, get a steady job, do things to change your well-being and mindset you don’t have to be an incel you just have to find your value.
